This applies to the road from the Åndalsnes side.

The road is closed for all traffic, also bicycling and walking.

The Trollstigen plateau is still open, with access from the Valldal side, but FRAM will not have a bus service from Valldal to Trollstigen.

It is possible to go bu bus between Åndalsnes and Geiranger either via Sjøholt or via Moa to Hellesylt and with tourist ferry from Hellesylt. Use the travel planner on frammr.no or in the FRAM app to find the travel route.

Planning is in progress for securing the road, but financing is not in place and when started, the work will take time which means it will not be possible to open the road this season.
