The extra departures apply to bus line 100, and will run round-trip between Kristiansund and Hjelset 365 days a year.
The timetable for line 714 Molde–Kleive will also be adjusted to match the working hours at the hospital.
Facilitated for work commuting
With the new departures, FRAM will have bus services to and from all three shifts at the hospital, including evening shifts. The changes are specifically designed for work commuting, but all travelers can use the service.
In addition to lines 100 and 714, lines 902 and 905 will also stop at Hjelset.
Needs and times mapped out
«We are very pleased to be able to offer a service that makes everyday life easier for commuters», says department manager at FRAM, Stig Helle-Tautra.
«It is important for us to have a functioning solution in place, making it easier to travel by public transport. We have had good dialogue with the hospital management to map out needs and specific times for the departures.»
Heidi Nilsen, deputy managing director at Helse Møre og Romsdal, is very satisfied that FRAM is strengthening the bus service for both employees and patients going to the Hospital Nordmøre og Romsdal.
«We have had good dialogue with the county authority over time to ensure a good bus service to and from SNR, and we encourage everyone who needs transport to Hjelset to try out the bus service», says Nilsen.
