Explanation for the help video: Assistant

Search for travel and buy a ticket in the FRAM app
The app works best if it has access to your location
The app starts in "Assistant"
Press "Buy tickets" if you know which tickets you need
- You can buy tickets for the express boat here, not in travel search
Search for travel to find the itinerary and the right ticket
Search for travel from where you are, or press in the search field for more choices
- You can enter the location or address you are traveling from
- You can choose to travel from where you are now
- Or you can choose on the map where you will travel from
Write the location, address, or on the map where you want to travel to
You can search for the location or address you want to travel to
- Bus icon indicates bus stop
- Airplane icon indicates airport
- Choose, the right location for you
- Choose if you want to have a departure now, or a later departure
- Click on "filter" to select the type of transport you want to use
- Choose preferred departure. Remember that the itinerary sometimes shows what time you need to leave to catch a departure
- You see the itinerary from where you are now until you arrive
- Press "Buy ticket"
- Check that the details are correct. Whether the ticket is to start now or later
- Press "For payment"
- Pay with Vipps or another payment method
- Preferred payment method: Vipps, Visa or MasterCard
- Press "To payment" to complete the payment
- You now have a valid and active ticket
- Press "Show details/control" to bring up the QR code
- Scan the QR code when you get on the bus or at a ticket inspection
- You can easily find your ticket on the app's start page

Add favourite location and favourite departures in the FRAM app
The app works best if it has access to your location
Press "Add favourite location" to more quickly search for a trip there
Type in the search field to search, and choose the right location from the search result
Enter a short name and add an icon for your favourite location
Press "Save a favorite location"
You now have a favourite location on the start page that you can tap on to quickly search for travel
You can also press "Add favourite departure" to add your favourite departure to the start page
Search for bus stops or from the list
Choose the line you want to travel with
Press "Close" to return to travel search
You can now see the next times for your favorite departure on the start page

How to use the map function in the FRAM app
The app works best if it has access to your location
You can find a shortcut to the map at the bottom of the menu
You can see where you are on the map, and the nearby bus stops
Tap on a bus stop for more information
You can see how you get to the bus stop and how many meters it is to get there
Or you can choose whether you want to travel to or from this bus stop
You see the next departures from the bus stop
Choose a departure
You get an overview of the bus stops with expected departures
You see when the bus last passed a stop
And you can see the bus directly on the map
Follow the bus on the map as it drives

How to find departures in the FRAM app
The app works best if it has access to your location
You can find departures in the menu at the bottom of the screen
Choose between the nearest bus stops
Or search for the location you are traveling from
Select the bus stop you want to leave from
You see the next departures from the bus stop
Choose the departure that suits you best
You see all the departures for the bus with times
You see the stop the bus last passed
And you can see the bus directly
Follow the bus as it drives

Find and buy tickets in the FRAM app
You can find and buy tickets in two ways
You can press "Buy tickets" on the start page
Or you can choose it at any time in the menu at the bottom
If you have active tickets, you will find them at the top right
You can repeat previous purchases
You can choose between a single ticket and a period ticket for buses
You can choose between a single ticket and a period ticket for express boats
At the very bottom you will find a period ticket for the entire county
You can press "Show info" to get more information about each ticket
Select the right passenger category
Select the right zone(s) in which the ticket should be valid
When the ticket will start
And press "To payment"
Pay with Vipps or another payment method
You now have a valid and active ticket
Press "Show details / inspection" to display a valid ticket
Scan the QR code when you get on the bus or at a ticket inspection
The ticket is available on the start page

Explanation for the help video: Buy ticket for others

Press "Buy tickets" on the start page
Or in the menu at the bottom
Select the ticket you want to buy for others, in this example “Single ticket for bus”
Select travellers
Remove ticket for adult if you want to buy a different ticket
Scroll all the way down
Slide the button to the right where it says “Buy for others”
Select travellers and press «Confirm choice» to continue
Controll the selected travellers, zone(s), and whether the ticket starts now or later
Press «Continue» to send the ticket to others
Enter the phone number for the person receiving the ticket.
The person receiving the ticket must be logged in to the FRAM app to get the ticket
Pay with Vipps, Visa or MasterCard
Press “Tickets sent to others” to view tickets sent to others
You will find information about the ticket and which phone number the ticket is sent to
The ticket is availble on the start page of the person you have bought for

Choices and settings in the FRAM app
You can find choices and settings for your user at the bottom right of the app
Under "My account" you will find key information and choices for your user
Under "Settings" there are several useful options
Choose desired category for future purchases, for example adult, child or senior
You can choose to use the ticket on another mobile phone (does not apply to others)
You can choose between light and dark apparance of the app
Choose what the start page should be when you open the app
"Assistant" is the default start page
The app can also start in "Departures"
Or in "Tickets"
Choose between Nynorsk, Bokmål or English
New functions can be tested in the "New features" menu
Add or delete locations or departures under "Favourites"
Information and choices about privacy
And at the bottom of the menu you will find links to info and prices
