The Transport Committee decided on March 18 to reduce the price by 100 kroner for all 30-day tickets.

The price reduction applies to period tickets for both bus and express boat. Hans Olav Myklebust (FrP), head of the Transport Committee in Møre og Romsdal County Municipality, was pleased with the decision:
– This is good news for those who travel frequently by bus and express boat. We are happy to be able to lower the price on 30-day period tickets and thus make the public transport options even more attractive. We hope even more people will travel by public transport, he says.
The measure is part of the national scheme for reduced prices on 30-day period tickets in 2026. Møre og Romsdal County Municipality is applying for funds from the scheme, and the Transport Committee has decided how the price reduction will be implemented within the allocated framework of 9.763 million kroner.
The new prices apply from April 1, 2026, and throughout the year.
