MF Stetind becomes the new main ferry on Brattvåg - Dryna

Will replace MF Haram from Wednesday, November 19.

Torghatten shipping company has reported this to FRAM.

MF Stetind will enter the route on Wednesday, November 19.

MF Stetind has a higher capacity than MF Haram, with space for 46 passenger car units (PCU) and 6 truck trailer units (TTU), compared to Haram's 35 PCU and 3 TTU. The vessel has been operating in Nordland and Troms for the past few years and has been used as a summer ferry on Andenes–Gryllefjord. It has also serviced the routes Svolvær–Skrova–Skutvik and Melbu–Fiskebøl.

MF Stetind has a speed of 14.5 knots, a salon above deck, and a drive-through height of 4.4 meters.

The vessel is enclosed. This means that passengers cannot be in their cars during the crossing.
