Increased ferry capacity on Solholmen–Mordalsvågen from February 19 to March 4

While the Brattvåg–Dryna ferry service is temporarily closed from February 19 to March 4, FRAM is deploying the MF Eira to increase capacity on route 1058 Solholmen–Mordalsvågen.

Dryna ferry quay will be closed from Thursday, February 19 to Wednesday, March 4, 2026. During this period, there will be no ferry service between Dryna and Brattvåg. The reason is the transition work from the old to the new bridge booth at Dryna ferry dock.

To manage increased traffic, MF Eira will be deployed on route 1058 Solholmen–Mordalsvågen starting the evening of February 19. This is because all vehicles between Midsund/Oterøya and the mainland must travel via Solholmen–Mordalsvågen during this period. There will be passenger transport between Midsund and Brattvåg until the work on the Dryna ferry dock is completed.

Travelers should expect more traffic than usual and plan their journey well in advance.
