Group travel

Are you planning to travel with a group, there are some important things to keep in mind.

Bus

Due to capacity considerations, there is room for only one group of up to 15 people per bus departure. Travelers must themselves regulate the number of people in the group traveling per departure and, if necessary, split into smaller groups for multiple departures.
On city buses in Ålesund, Molde and Kristiansund groups of up to 25 people can travel together between 09.00 and 13.00.
Please note that there is no guarantee of space for the group.
The travel guarantee does not apply.
No extra capacity or additional departures will be provided on days with special events.
For travel outside the regular public transport service, specified times, or on days with special events, a separate transport arrangement must be booked. In such cases, you need to contact the bus operators or charter bus services directly for an offer. FRAM does not handle this.

Children and adults in kindergartens, traveling together, can take the bus without paying for the children when:

You travel between 09.00 and 13.00. That is, start after 09.00 and again before 13.00, due to fewer other travelers at that time.
The kindergarten must have a voucher or pay for the adults when you board the bus.
Furthermore, the same rules apply as in general for group travel (see above).

Students and teachers at the schools, who travel together, can take the bus like everyone else.

For schools, the same rules apply as for group travel in general (see above). We encourage you to travel between 09.00 and 13.00, due to fewer other travelers at that time.
The school must have a voucher or pay for both the students and teachers when they board the bus.
