Included with the ticket:

• Hand luggage  with a total weight of up to 20 kilos
• Up to two pieces of luggage with a maximum combined weight of 30 kilos  

Larger items are allowed provided there is space available.

We ask those who travel by bus to think of their fellow passengers and follow the applicable rules for luggage. 

These are the most important rules

• Hand luggage. Passengers are allowed to bring easily managed items (hand luggage) with a total weight of up to 20 kg for each ticket. The luggage must be placed in such a way that it does not cause discomfort for other passengers or prevent entry and exit.
• Other luggage. Passengers may bring heavy or large items or baggage to the extent that space allows, and the service staff deem it safe. Such items are to be placed according to service staff instructions.

• To bring a bicycle on board a bus you must buy a ticket for children 6-17 years old. On express boats, a bicycle can be brought on board free of charge.
• Exception: you can bring a fold-up bicycle and small kickbikes that can be easily carried with one hand, free of charge.
• The bus driver or personnel on board decide whether there is enough room on board. Bicycles etc, will not be prioritized if the bus or vessel is full. 

Dog on the bus

Dogs can travel on board all buses. For dogs you pay the same price as for a child 6-17 years old and you pay on board. Guide dogs, police dogs and other service dogs on active duty can travel without a separate ticket.

FRAM Ekspress

• Passengers with dogs need to sit at the back of the bus.
• If there are allergic passengers on board, the driver may request that a passenger travelling with a dog need to wait for the next departure.
• If there are passengers with a great fear of dogs on board, the driver may request that a passenger travelling with a dog need to wait for the next departure.
• If a dog becomes aggressive towards other passengers, the driver may request that the owner need to leave the bus with the dog.
• At the last departure of the day, we cannot reject travelers with dogs. 

Dog on the express boats

On express boats, dogs can be brought on board for free. On board the express boats, dogs need to be transported in their own cage/crate when they are in the lounge on board the express boat. If not, the dog must be kept in an assigned area outside the salon, as directed by the crew.

These rules are set to ensure that the dog does not come into contact with chairs, carpets, etc. in the lounge out of consideration for allergy sufferers and other travelers. The rules do not apply to guide dogs accompanying a blind/visually impaired person, police dogs or other service dogs. 

Dog on the ferries

On ferries, the rules from the shipping company that operates the ferry apply. Contact the crew on board to find out what the rules are.

It is no longer possible to send a package as a private person.
