FRAM Ung

The price of FRAM Ung will increase from 450 NOK to 500 NOK on 1 January.

“The ticket will also have a new age limit and can only be used up to and including 20 years old. Today, you can use it up to and including 24 years old”, says Toril Karlsnes, marketing manager at FRAM.

There will be a transition phase for those who have purchased FRAM Ung in December this year. The new age limit will be enforced from 1 February, 2025.

FRAM Ung is a period ticket for travel by bus and express boats in the county.

“For students, an alternative could be FRAM Student, which can be used up to and including 29 years old”, says Karlsnes.

Ferry

The county council decided to increase prices for county road ferries that are not free, equivalent to one fare zone. In addition, these routes will have a price increase in accordance with changes in the AutoPASS regulations for ferry fares. The increase will be 3.8 percent from 1 January, 2025, in line with the Storting's budget decision.

Traveling by ferry will still be free for passengers.

“You only pay for the vehicle, and these are the prices that will go up from the new year. What you have to pay for the trip depends on what vehicle you have and how far you travel”, says Karlsnes.
