FRAM

FRAM is the brand for public transport in Møre og Romsdal.  It is also the name of the department in the county administration that manages the public transport operation.

Møre and Romsdal county authority is responsible for the public transport in the county, whereas various transport companies conduct the transport on behalf of the county authority. These transport companies own the buses, express boats, and ferries. 

The four bus companies that drive for FRAM has a total of approximately 380 buses, and more than 700 bus drivers are in action to drive the buses. In total there are 5500 bus stops in the county.

In the high season, FRAM has 31 ferries in operation plus spare ferries. The ferries call at 53 quays.

FRAM operate three express boat connections. In addition, there is express boat line 800 which operates between Kristiansund and Trondheim. This connection is operated by AtB in Trøndelag. 

Totally there are 4689 bus, ferry, and express boat departures on a normal Friday in October. During a year, approximately 18 million trips are carried out on FRAM buses, express boats and ferries.
